The essential material for shortening jeans

  • Jeans
  • A pen
  • A pair of scissors
  • A ruler
  • A washing machine
  • A dryer

Step 1: Choose the right length

Put on your jeans. Using a pen, mark the correct length.
Be careful, as you bend down, the jeans will go up, take this into account.

Step 2: Outline, Cut Out, Start Over!

Lay your jeans flat and measure the distance between your mark and the end of the jeans. Repeat this measurement on the other side of the leg so that you can draw a line.
Turn your jeans to extend your marks and again draw a line connecting them. You just have to cut off the ends of your pants.
Repeat the previous steps on the second leg keeping the same measurement.

Step 3: Wash your jeans

To get a used effect, wash your jeans at the usual temperature, and dry for 10 to 20 minutes.
Feel free to rub the bottom of the jeans together for a more worn and frayed effect. Put it on and parade!
